Lawang Sewu
Lawang Sewu is an old building that located in Semarang City. The are arshitect of the building is Mr. Thomas Karsten. It used to PT.KAI, Indonesia Train Kompany.
It was named Lawang Sewu because it has a lot of doors. Lawang Sewu is the meaning of a thousand doors. Although if we count the doors its not a thousand. In the yard, there is a classic locomotife. It has a large back yard. In form of the building there is a monument that called Tugu Muda. It was built to commemorate Pertempuran Lima Hari di Semarang (Five days battle in Semarang).
